Arts eXploration for Youth (AXY Grant)
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, live full-time on Mayne Island, and have an art-connected activity for which you need some financial support, you’re invited to apply for an AXY Grant. 

Our goal is to assist creative teenagers – be your interest in visual, performing, literary, applied, multi-media or some other art form – to advance your interest and/or build your skills. AXY grants are designed to help you take part in an arts-oriented learning opportunity such as a course, workshop or seminar (in person or online), attend an inspiring off-island exhibition or performance, purchase materials to complete a specific arts project, or participate in some other type of arts activity of your choosing. 

Grants are limited to a maximum of $250 per application. Funds can be used to cover the entire cost or to supplement the cost of an arts activity. If your application is succesful you will be required to provide us with a follow-up report on completion of the activity.

You can apply for an AXY grant using the online form below. Note that:

• You must be a full-time resident of Mayne Island between the ages of 13 and 18.
• You must have permission from your parent/guardian to participate in the arts activity and to apply for funding.

Applications will be accepted until all available funds have been committed.
