Arts on Saturna works to provide exhibition opportunities at venues such as the Fog Alarm Building and Feral Goat Bistro through community partnerships. They also assist with programs such as the creation and installation of banners at the library (pictured below), and learning opportunities in the form of art workshops and classes.

Mark your calendars for a Silversmith workshop with Susan Range on Saturday, June 1. 2 workshops times are offered: one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Each workshop is limited to 5 participants. No experience is needed. This class is beginner friendly and open to anyone 18 years and over. You will learn the first step to soldering to create a sterling silver ring. Morning Workshop Time: 9:30 a.m to 12:00 noon Afternoon Workshop Time: 1:00 p.m. — 3:00 p.m. Fee: $35.00 which includes all materials Place: Community Hall Secure your space by May 24th by e-transfer of the full fee to: [email protected]. Floating Gallery - BC Ferries Work by members of the Saturna Island branch are on display in the Floating Gallery display cases on board BC Ferries vessels serving the Southern Gulf Islands. Next time you're travelling, take time to see what artists on Saturna and the other Southern Gulf Islands have been creating.
