Whether you are engaged in creative activities or simply wish to support the arts, we invite you to be a member of the Southern Gulf Islands Arts Council.  

Individual Annual Membership ($20)
Memberships are valid from January (or date of purchase) through December 31 each year. Memberships received in the last quarter of the year may be carried forward into the next year. ​NOTE: Whether you are a new member, or are renewing your membership, please be sure to fill out and sumbmit the form on this page (below).

Your membership is important to us. It supports the arts in our Southern Gulf Island communities and also provides benefits such as:
  • Opportunities to showcase your work in Regional Exhibition opportunities such as “Arts on the Islands”.
  • Showcase your work in and the "Floating Gallery" display cases on BC Ferries vessels serving the Southern Gulf Islands.
  • Events and exhibitions supported by the SGI Arts Council may be eligible for group liability insurance (conditions apply).
  • Profile your art in a free Website listing in our online Artists Directory
  • Gain exposure through our social media networks i.e. Facebook and Instagram
  • Enjoy discounts on art supplies at Dragonfly Gallery (Mayne)
  • Receive informative e-newsletters about educational workshops, arts events, calls to artists,  and more. 
  • Have a voice into the development of the arts in our region including voting rights at annual general meetings.
  • Give back to your community through opportunities to volunteer, serve on the board of directors, or participate in committees.
  • Share and benefit from the knowledge pool of arts practitioners in our branches and island communities.
  • Contribute to the vibrant arts communities in our Island region through and collaboration and networking.
